Summer Sampler is one in a series of 4 seasonal 8″ x 10″ hand embroidery sampler patterns by Kathy Schmitz. We also have the patterns for Spring, Autumn and Winter.
We recommend watching the helpful video tutorials by Kathy Schmitz available on YouTube. In one, she teaches how she uses freezer paper for tracing her designs with more ease. Full instructions are in the video and there is also one for the different stitches used. The pattern includes QR codes which links to the YouTube tutorials. To use the codes just open your camera on your mobile phone or other devise, then, when the yellow box on your screen surrounds the code, press the screen and it should take you straight to the video.
Included in the pattern are two pattern images, one the right way and one reversed so you can use it for the freezer paper tracing method as described in the Kathy Schmitz video tutorial.
