These heat resistant Mylar circles are the templates for the Sunshine & Lollipops BOM currently running in the Homespun Magazine.
They are reusable and can be used for other projects. You simply cut your fabric larger than the template. Make large gathering stitches around the outside of the fabric. Place on the template and gather around the circle. Press this to make a perfect circle. Using starch will help create a sharper seam and will mean the template can be removed before appliqueing the circle onto the background fabric. Alternatively it can be left in and removed just before the last stitches are made on the applique.
