This is a very roomy bag & is the perfect size for carrying a project or two.
It has handles to use whether the bag has been drawn up or left open, and has been made using applique, stitchery and simple machine piecing.
It has one side as a stitchery panel, the opposite side using a combination of woven wool applique and stitchery, and the remaining two sides being machine pieced.
Finished size 6″x8″ without handles with a 6″ gusset.
You will need:
Main bag fabric natural linen – 25cm x width of fabric
Pieced bag sides – 12 of 5″ squares
Lining – 20cm x width of fabric
Light weight iron on Vilene 25cm
Woven wool for applique – scraps
Bondaweb 4″ x 10″
DMC – 08 brown, 371 lt green, 420 orange, 422 yellow, 451 purple, 611 putty, 646 grey, 926 blue, 3064 pink, 3721 raspberry
1/8″ (3mm) Cording – 60″ (1.5M)
