Louise has designed this lino-printed panel ready for you to embellish with the felt threads & button included in the kit.
All the detail is added by hand using felt & threads in a variety of stitches for which there are templates, diagrams & full instructions enclosed. Once all the embellishment has been completed, the design is backed, cut out & machined around the outside edge but you could hand sew using blanket stitch if you would rather. I would recommend a size 12 or 16 thread for this. Alternatively, rather than cutting the heart out, you could applique the embellished design onto another piece of fabric to make into something else, such as a cushion.
The design is printed using an oil based ink which can be machine washed if necessary.
The finished hanging measures approx. 23cm x 27cm not including the loop for hanging.
