A soft, lightweight baby carrier that is fully reversible and can be folded down to fit in your bag. You can make it using your favourite fabrics and it only requires two fat quarters for the front and back. The extra wide shoulder straps make it comfortable and supportive for your back which is great if you use a carrier a lot. There is extra padding for the baby’s head along with the option of a support cushion for newborns
Great to team up with Beth’s baby changer as a gift for new parents.
You will need
20” (50cm) x 18” (45cm) of outer fabric (one fat quarter would be plenty)
20” (50cm) x 18” (45cm) of lining fabric (one fat quarter would be plenty)
20” (50cm) x 22” (55cm) natural fibre wadding/batting ( I used Vliseline cotton soya mix)
2.5m fabric for straps (based on a fabric width of 42”)
