Hatched & Patched Patterns

Anni Downs, is the creator of all the patterns, books and fabrics under the Hatched and Patched label. She has been designing Patchwork fabrics & patterns for over 20 years.  Hatched & Patched style is whimsical, having a little bit of quirky thrown in. With a lot of Anni’s designs she likes to tell a story, sometimes with sayings, sometimes just with imagery. She loves using different mediums such as wool, cottons and linens to create a little texture in her work, and likes a slightly low tonal value.  She gives work a slightly organic handmade look combining stitchery, piecing and applique.
