New Year New Workspace
Hello. We hope this finds you well. We have had a busy week sending out all your lovely orders and taking calls regarding the new Anni Downs BOM in Homespun Magazine - Sunshine & Lollipops. We still have some availability for the start late February/early March so if you would like to take part let us know asap. Details below.
How many of us look with envy at the pages of Pinterest strewn with pristine sewing rooms bigger than the homes most of us live in? We may not be able to magically create an extra room for our sewing habit but we can have an easier working environment wherever that may be - A tiny snug or office, a kitchen or dining table, the sofa or our bedroom. We all do our best to find a workable space. This space can be made easier with the right tools for the job and the means to keep it all ship shape. Today we thought we'd take a look at some things that would help create a perfect sewing environment including ways of making sewing more portable.
A quick reminder that it is the last few hours of the January Sale. 10% off across the store until midnight Sunday 14th January. The discount also applies to SALE items but not gift vouchers.
We still do not have the keys for our new workshop space but there has been plenty of activity opposite us so we hope that it will be very soon so we can get classes and groups going asap. They say the best things come to those who wait so it should be super once we get the keys as you and all of us have waited nearly two years for this!
We look forward to helping you with all your sewing needs. Have a wonderful week. Best wishes Sally & the girls

These delicious storage bags and pods are really useful to help keep your sewing space neat and tidy with everything to hand and still looking gorgeous. It always amazes us just how many bags a stitcher needs for the multiple projects that we are inevitably working on. There are general bags, caddies and pods that are useful for tidying bits and bobs, and there are also bags for more specific uses like English Paper Piecing or Block Keepers.

Sunshine and Lollipops
Yet another gorgeous Block of the Month from Anni Downs. The pattern is only available in the Homespun Magazine and runs from February/ March for 6 issues over 12 months. Each magazine on subscription is £6.25. We are still working out the costs for all the other elements but estimate the fabric pack to be in the region of £170-£190. The fabric pack will be made up using Tilda Jubilee Fabric which is released next month and of which there is limited availability.
We still have a few spaces left so please contact us if you would like to take part. We may not be able to get additional issues once it starts.
