We are too colourful for Black Friday
How can a shop full of colour ever label themselves as having Black Friday deals? Instead, we like to inject a little colour into everyone’s lives, so we do have offers but for Fabulous Fabrics Friday!
In the physical shop and online, there will be a 20% off sale on most of our Christmas fabric, automatically discounted online and in the shop. Plus 10% off across the shop and online, except for gift vouchers and sale items. These offers are valid from 6pm Thursday 24th November until midnight Sunday 4th December. If you order online, at the checkout stage, you simply click on the coupon code FAB10 to receive your discount. If in the shop, we will deduct everything at the till.
As a small independent business, we are not able to compete with the big guns of Amazon etc but what we do like to do is offer a personal service to each customer. We try our hardest to keep everyone happy and inspired and we truly do happy dances when we see our customers in the shop and ordering online. More customers have popped in this week who we’ve not seen in a long, long time and hugs were freely flowing. We are so in gratitude for the support we have from everyone and the kind messages we receive. Many are asking about restarting workshops and plans are afoot for next year so keep looking out in the newsletter and we will let you know once we have more information.
Look out for additional special offers next weekend as a way of celebrating our 14th birthday, plus a special birthday project from Mary.
With the multiple postal strikes this week and next, we are doing our best to still get orders posted and delivered as quickly and efficiently as possible. We have been advised that Special Delivery parcels are no longer guaranteed until after 5th December, although they will be prioritised. We take care to try and find the best way of posting but there may still be delays, especially with standard/2nd class, however we are upgrading to first or a courier where feasible. If you need things speedily please contact us and we will look at how best to serve you.

Happy Stitching, have a wonderful week & happy fabulous fabric bargain hunting! Best wishes Sally & the girls

These kits arrived on Wednesday and really are delicious. Anyone who pre-ordered a kit has had them sent out via FedEx to avoid the postal strikes and will get them in time for 1st December. As I write there are only 5 of these delightful kits left. beautifully packaged, each contains a selection of felt, threads, a needle and a book of designs, carefully arranged to stop peeping!
Every day of the advent will reveal a new item to stitch onto a background to create a delightful scene that will only be completed on December 24th.
No peeking is allowed! Each day’s stitching is designed to take no more than 30 to 45 minutes.

Michelle and Mandy were busy making these cushions using Warm Winter Wishes in creams and deep red and rich teals. Michelle used an image from the panel plus strips and squares to frame it. Mandy used some fat 1/4s for her pieced cushion.

Sally used the designs on the background of the Christmas button packs as inspiration for her Festive Button Bunting. She stitched and appliqued the same designs as printed on the paper onto a linen background then layered each one with wadding and backing and binding before attaching them to bunting tape and embellished with fancy ric rac. Which buttons will you choose for your bunting or even individual pictures or cards?
