Liber-Tea Creative Morning

In 2025 Liberty fabrics celebrate 150 years of trading. To celebrate they are creating a supersized patchwork quilt for display in their Regency Street Store. They are asking customers to each make a block to be part of the quilt. Liberty have sent us complimentary fabric packs for all registered customers to use for the quilt.

We thought it would be lovely to have some time set aside so we can all get started and share block ideas. If you would like to join us for the morning, please contact us to book your place. This is not a taught class but we will be in the workshop to help with ideas, sharing hints and tips, and of course providing tea and biscuits! We will have some block patterns ready for you to use or you can come up with your own design. Please refer to our blog post and the email from Liberty once you register with them.
You will need sewing essentials, needles, threads, scissors etc You will also need your fabric pack or collect it on the day if you have reserved one with us. You can add other fabrics too as long as the block is 60% Liberty. You can either sew by hand or machine or a combination of both. Liberty want us to be creative and expressive.
Booking a workshop
As our classes are popular and fill up quickly, we operate a ‘first come, first served’ policy with a small reserve list in case of cancellations. Bookings can be made by telephone or by calling into the shop. Full payment for classes and kits must be made at the time of booking, so if you book by phone, please have details of your credit or debit card ready. If you join one of our Block of the Month groups, we request that all classes are paid for whether you attend or not, as we still have the tutors & rent to pay. We also accept cheques by post. Cancelling a workshop
If you need to cancel a workshop, please contact us as soon as possible. It is possible that we may be able to fill your place from the reserve list. Course fees are only refundable if your place can be resold, & a £5 administration fee will be charged.
