Zipped Pouches Pattern – A lovely pattern to make five coordinated zipped pouch fronts from a single 5″ charm pack

With this fantastic sewing pattern from Janet Clare, simply take one 5” charm square pack to make the fronts for five zipped pouches measuring 5″, 7″, 9″, 11″ and 13″ square!

Almost every quilter, patch worker and crafter I know has a lot of unfinished projects (UFOs – unfinished objects!), not because they were too difficult to complete, but simply that there are so many lovely things to make it is easy to get distracted with another project!

These handy zipped pouches will help you keep the bits and pieces for your UFOs together and are compact enough to pick up and take anywhere. So now you have no excuse for not working on one of those many UFOs wherever you are!

The detailed sewing pattern includes step by step instructions and photographs to guide you through cutting your fabric and the piecing of the pouch fronts, adding the zip, lining and backing.

Simple techniques mean it is great for beginners and a perfect skill builder, but the project will be enjoyable for all experience levels and can be hand or machine sewn.

Janet’s pouches feature fabrics from her ‘Ebb and Flow’ collection for Moda, but you can easily choose and create your own variations and styles using different charm packs or scrap fabrics. Janet’s fabrics are available from us.
