Winter Valley Pattern by Julia Gahagan

This is a pattern with detailed instructions to make the Winter Valley mini quilt measuring 17.5 x 23.5cm (7″ x 9”).

You will need a fabric glue pen to complete the quilt and these are available to purchase here

This is a winter themed design and uses Julia’s technique of shadow appliqué and quilting where shapes are freely cut, glued to the background and then quilted with a layer of net over the top (net is included with the pattern). It is a really fun and easy technique suitable for all levels of stitcher including beginners. This is a lovely mini quilt to make for your own use or as a gift for a friend. Julia hangs hers mini quilts at home in picture frames, wire hangers, stands or on canvas boards.
