Leanne Beasley has created this beautiful Couch Companion which is a must for any stitcher!
Finished size 20 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches
Requirements:
- Rotary cutter, ruler & mat
- Basic sewing kit including embroidery hoop and needle
- Sewing machine & 1/4 inch sewing machine foot
- 100% cotton sewing machine thread
- 30cm of 100% cotton fabric for couch companion front and pin cushion top (beige)
- 25cm or a fat 1/4 of 100% cotton fabric for lining (dark brown)
- 25cm or fat 1/4 of 100% cotton fabric for largest pocket and back of pincushion(beige paisley)
- 4 x fat 1/8ths for small pockets – various prints
- 15cm of 100% cotton fabric for binding (brown star)
- 20 1/2 inch x 8 1/2 inch piece wadding
- Fabric pen or 2B pencil for transferring designs onto fabric (if your fabric is not see through, you will need to purchase Chacopy Paper for transfering the design)
- Optional: 30cm light-weight iron-on vilene to place behind your stitchery
- Erasable fabric marker
- Small amount of stuffing for pincushion
- DMC threads in the following colours: 223, 224, 422, 3011, 3012, 3013 & 3862
