Daisies panel by Delphine Brooks for Lewis and Irene

Delphine Brooks is a textile artist and designer from Warwickshire in the UK. Her journey has taken her from studying fine art to discovering a passion for all things textiles. She loves creating designs that incorporate bold colours and patterns.

To recreate this beautiful design Delphine has collaborated with Lewis and Irene to produce these flower panels. All of the fabric required is printed on each individual panel as well as the main piece to ‘fill’ with the fabric as desired. Comprehensive instructions are also written on each of the panels along with an image showing a suggested finish. The fabric is appliqued onto the image by tracing the sections onto Bondaweb, ironing the pieces on and sewing them in place with a satin, blanket or zig zag stitch on the machine. The finished panel could be used as a cushion cover, picture, wall hanging or a centre of a quilt. Why not team with Delphine’s other flower panels, Sunflower and Rose.

The product image gives an idea of the colours of the finished applique using the fabrics on the panel. The gallery images show the whole panel plus an alternative colour way so you can see how it is pieced and how you might use your own fabrics instead.

36″ x 44″ // 90cm x 112cm for the whole panel. Finished appliqued image is approximately 20″/ 50cm square

100% cotton

You will also need bondaweb and sewing threads.
