This gorgeous pattern has been designed by our lovely Mary & was the project for our Summer Get Together.
It’s unusual construction means that you can access pins & needles from all sides, with a mixture of embroidery using simple stitches and English Paper Piecing.
You will need:

6 “ square of linen or pale fabric
6” square of fine vilene
6” cotton print fabric in a yellow, gold or floral
12” x 6” Pelmet vilene
Frixon pen or other erasable pen
12” square of felt
7 Scraps of yellow or gold fabrics each 1” square
DMC threads in Green, Yellow, Purple , Dark Brown and Pink
DMC 728 is a good golden yellow
Sharp scissors
Tacking thread
5” hoop
Usual hand sewing kit
