Coast & Country Crafts and Quilts Newsletter

Sun, Sea, Sand, Sailing is Grand!

With the sun shining & the start of the summer holidays, we felt this week's theme should be all about the beach, pretty seaside villages and enjoying the coast.

We've had a delightful delivery from our friends at the Bee Company. We all love their Christmas Houses, so last year I asked if they'd be able to make some Seaside Houses & I'm thrilled to say they've arrived & are truly delightful. We've also got some new buttons sets & have re-stocked on your favourite seaside, Christmas themed & Autumn buttons too.

A super selection of new kits from Corinne Lapierre are in stock, just in time for the school holidays (great for a rainy day) & why not enjoy a bit of camp building with some Pirate bunting & a Skull & Crossbones flag & our Mary has come up with a fantastic alternative use for the Safety First face mask panels to make a fun bean bag game.

Nautical Fabrics are always favourites down here in Cornwall, with so many to choose from. See our super selection below including Janet Clare's brand new To the Sea which has just arrived!!!

Our massive sale continues to make room for new fabrics, with so many of you already grabbing a bargain, but there's still loads to be had, so pop in if you're local or down in Cornwall on holiday, there's a big selection in the Sale & whilst you're in you can see all the new ranges too!

Our friends at the Bee Company have designed these exquisite Beach House Kits. Each house is a 3-d house with an embroidered and appliqued front, embellished with little wooden buttons. They're available individually or as a complete set. If any are out of stock, please join the waitlist as we know they're going to be very popular so we have more coming!

This new Seaside Fishing Village button set is gorgeous. Why not create a small wall hanging using the background design on the button pack, then embellish with the seaside cottage buttons, bunting & fish, & embroider the seagulls.

We have a large selection of wooden hand painted seaside themed buttons, from boats, starfish, seabirds, ice cream carts, beach huts & more. See our selection here
Imaginative Play...
Enjoy playing in the garden or down on the beach building camps with some Pirate bunting & a Skull & Crossbones flag. They're easy enough for children to help make them & we have coordinating fabrics too.

These are also a great idea for festivals when trying to identify your tent!

Bean Bag Fun!

This Safety First panel has been created to make facemasks, but our Mary has come up with another ingenious idea for this panel. They make a really fun set of bean bags too & great fun for the summer holidays! Children could assist in making them, then play the game throwing them into a bucket to see who wins or using them or the new game that's all the rage Cornhole!
