Summer Blues and Christmas Joy
We have been very busy this week cutting all the new fabrics that have been arriving. So many all at once. It is very odd to be cutting Christmas fabric in the sweltering heat but they are all delicious. We have Christmas ranges from Lynette Anderson, Deb Strain, Basicgrey, Lella Boutique and Mandy Shaw. We have also had the beautiful Something Borrowed, Something Blue from Lynette Anderson. No hint of Christmas in this one, just beautiful soft blue designs. Below we give a few sneak peaks at everything.

Also in the shop is the second part of our large order of patterns from Australia and we have been busy making up kits for a lot of them. They include the EPP kits for Indulgence and Tenderness. There are patterns for large and small projects. Many are ideal to take into the garden or on holiday to sew, including paper piecing or embroidery. Toys, bags, quilts, wall hangings, purses and pincushions. So much choice!

Lynette Anderson has created a beautiful blue collection that we know will be popular. Butterflies, script, flowers and plaid in varying hues of cream and blue. We are very excited to see this collection on the shelves. We can see this being used a lot for the projects in the Nautical Quilts Book, especially the Seagull Quilt. We will be busy cutting the fabrics for the fabric pack asap. So if it isn't in stock, add your name to the waitlist and we will let you know as soon as it is ready.

We finally got to unbox our second delivery from one of our suppliers in Australia. What a treasure trove!

We have three beautiful EPP (English Paper Pieced) quilt patterns and we have made accompanying fabric packs for two of them. The vibrant Indulgence, Tenderness and Stargazer are patterns that come with acrylic templates and there are also kits that include the paper pieces to save you the trouble of cutting your own shapes.

Oh my Goodness! The shop is groaning with all the deliciousness! It is so hard not to show you more here but pop in to the shop to see the new ranges or click on the image above to see more. We are almost at the longest day of the year and the temperatures are soaring but it's never too early to get ready for the festive season.
