Good morning/afternoon/evening depending on when you read this.

We trust that none of your homes sustained bad damage over the last few days of very high winds. Here in Cornwall it was particularly ferocious. On Wednesday we heard several branches land on the shop roof but thankfully no damage occurred and all our staff and stock are safe and sound.
To celebrate surviving Storm Noa, we are this weekend offering a 10% discount across our full stock excluding Sale items and gift vouchers. Just click on the discount code SPRINGSALE at the checkout online until midnight on Sunday 16th April or purchase in the shop and the discount will automatically be applied. Don't forget if you are local or coming on holiday, you can opt to collect from the shop to save on postage, not miss out on the discount and get to see us too.
With a discount this is the perfect time to buy yourself the thing you've had your eye on for a while maybe. A larger kit or new cutting mat perhaps. We also have some ideas below to tempt you, including a gorgeous new book from Quiltmania, In a French Garden by Bonnie Sullivan and Dawn Heese. Plus we have a restock of other Quiltmania Books including Calico and Stich by Sue Stichbury, Simply Home from Anni Downs and Jo Colwills Cowslip Country Quilts.
We also take a look at all things house and home this week. Having a safe warm space to hide away out of the storm has made us appreciate where we live so we wanted to celebrate having somewhere to call home. Kits, patterns, fabrics, quilts, cushions, buttons, all with a home or house theme.
Popular in the shop are the Little Linen Nesting Baskets so we have made up three different colourways in our lush linen cotton blend fabric. Which set will you be tempted to make?
As always, take care, keep sewing and sharing what you make. We love to see your creations.
Happy Stitching and have a wonderful week. Best wishes Sally & the girls

Mary has been busy creating a patriotic display in the shop. We love her arrangement of a selection of our red, white and blue fabrics with her Coronation Cushion centre stage and the Union Jack Panels ready to make up into bunting.
