Flowers, fish and llamas!
After showcasing just one designer, Bunny Hill, last week, this newsletter is all about variety.
Arriving with us this week has been a huge box of kits from Corinne Lapierre. Included are several new additions to our stock. We love the linen Lavender bags which are now available in three designs. Also, who can resist the gorgeous trio of felt Llamas with their colourful blankets?
New florals and coordinating watercolour effect fabrics have brought us a vibrant burst of spring colour. Eufloria from Create Joy Project has brightened our days especially with the cold nip in the air.
Coast by Sally Payne for Dashwood Studios has a soft hued colour palette with fish, gulls and boats. We love her quirky fun designs.
We are also highlighting a few of the fabric packs that we have put together over the last week or so. We have been busy bees with choosing and cutting the perfect fabrics for your projects. Let us know if there is a particular kit you need making up and we will do our utmost to help you.
Have a wonderful week that is full of love, laughter and sewing! Best wishes Sally & the girls

At Coast and Country, we are lucky to live by the sea, so of course we love anything coastal themed and these new fabrics from designer and illustrator Sally Payne do not disappoint. Coast has a slight retro vibe with muted blues, greens, ochres and peach.
We are starting to have favourites in the range already. Sally is fond of the sardine tins, Sarah likes the block print made up of 4" blocks and Michelle loves the boats. Despite gulls sometimes being pests locally we find it hard to not like the gull fabric. Then there are cheeky crabs, coastal houses, waves and fish. One customer came in to buy the range to make the patchwork jacket using the pattern in the Great British Sewing Bee Book. We can't wait to see how it turns out. (We are expecting more copies of the book to arrive soon so add your name to the waitlist if you're tempted)

Funky llamas, cheeky foxes and cute mice are amongst some of the gorgeous characters designed by Corinne Lapierre. All of her kits come complete with everything you need except a pair of scissors and a little time. Her felt is a beautiful soft wool blend that is a pleasure to use.
The linen lavender bag kits come with the fabrics, threads, needle and of course deliciously heady dried French lavender.
There are also more practical felt kits to buy or make for yourself or sewing friends. A Felt Needle Case,

Create Joy Project collections are always popular with their jolly prints and dynamic colours. They have certainly brightened up a corner of the shop for us. We really like the coordinating watercolour designs too as they are a useful blender fabric to enhance the main designs.

This week we have been busy again making more fabric packs and kits for many of our patterns. Here are just some of the ones that we have been working on.
We are happy to make up kits for any of our patterns so please do ask if what you want is out of stock or not yet available. We do our very best to match the fabrics and colours to the original or will state if we use an alternative colour way if we think it would look fabulous!
