A bit of glitz, witch and book wizardry ....

Hello lovely customer. It is a tad breezy and wet as I type. Lovely weather for ducks! Hopefully you are snuggled up and safe. However, despite the chilliness outside, we are finding our hearts warm knowing we will be seeing so many of our lovely customers next week with our Autumn Get Together and pop up shop. The class is full but anyone can pop in to visit the mobile shop. We would love to see you there. Full details below.

This week we are bringing the good news that we have received an order of Tilda books and have created some special scrap bags to accompany them. We have created a limited selection of Tilda Merry Little Christmas scrap bags! These are made up from the end of rolls of the range, some of which have sold out completely, so these are the last chance for many of these fabrics. We have also made some very beautiful Sparkly Scrap bags using our metallic fabrics. A great way to get a selection of fabrics for those little projects or applique embellishments.

Although we are looking at Christmas, Halloween is just a few days away and there is still time to make things for the celebrations. We have plenty of witchy fabrics and even a panel to make party decorations if you are hosting a spooky get together. The party panel is now at a knockdown price and all Halloween fabrics have a 10% discount this week. Don't forget to click on the coupon at the checkout to take advantage of it.

Thank you for your support and custom. We enjoy chatting with you online and over the phone, helping you to get the right fabrics and threads for your projects, and hope to see many of you in person at the various events coming up.
With our Very Best wishes
Sally & Michelle x
Tilda books are always such great value for money, being packed full of absolutely tons of Scandinavian inspiration and patterns. From quirky dolls to large quilts and pretty cushions. Crafting Christmas does not disappoint and includes snowmen and angels, heart decorations and Santa Sacks.
Winter Delights is really full of delights! A gorgeous polar bear, Christmas Angels, Stockings and other decorations.

This is Sally's own Tilda Polar Bear, made using the pattern in Winter Delights. The Tilda fur is no longer available so it has been made in our high quality woolfelt. Perfect for toy making. There are three sizes of the Polar Bear pattern in the Winter Delights book. For the small size you will need a long quarter of woolfelt, & for the medium and large polar bears you will need 1/2 m each of woolfelt.
Homemade and Happy is filled with cushions, quilts, stockings and dolls including the gorgeous quilted Father Christmas and the reindeer that were always a talking point in the shop with their twig antlers. We have Tilda Doll fabric which is perfect for making the deer and other soft toys, such as those in Crafting Springtime. It has a slight give to make the sewing and stuffing of thin limbs extra easy. Osnaburg or linen can also be used.
We know Spring is a long way ahead but no harm in planning ahead. Look at these cute bunnies, hens and geese.
A lot of this gorgeous range was sold out within the first few weeks. We see why. Such pretty vintage style prints in glorious colours that are more wintry than just for Christmas. We have managed to make a final few fat 1/8 and fat 1/4 bundles using the majority of the range and also a few rather gorgeous bespoke Merry Little Christmas Scrap Bags. They contain a selection of the range and are a limited edition as they contain the last pieces of some of the fabrics.
Whether for festive projects or others, sometimes we need a little sparkle in our lives but don't want to buy lots of fat 1/4s. That is why we created these Sparkly Scrap bags. Each contains the equivalent of a fat 1/4 of fabric. These metallic beauties add a little glitz and glamour to any project. Sparkly paper pieced decorations, applique stars and moons or a halo or wings for an angel.
There are just a few days until Halloween but there is still time to make spooky bits and pieces. We have 10% off all Halloween items until November 1st. Click on the code Spook10 at the checkout.

We have a few of the Little Witch Party Panels to make Halloween Party Decorations at the hugely discounted price from £29.99 down to £17.99. However with the code Spook10 this brings it down to just £16.19 !

The 10% discount also applies to all Halloween fat 1/4s and Fabrics. Click on the Spook10 coupon visible at the checkout. For any spooky purchases at our pop up shop on Tuesday we will automatically apply the discount.
We are delighted that the Autumn Get Together next Tuesday 28th October 2025 in the Stithians Centre is now full.

However you are warmly invited to pop in to our mobile shop 11.00 am to 3 pm. Sally and Michelle will be bringing a pop up shop full of goodies. Expect festive fabrics, threads, patterns, trims and much more.

We look forward to seeing all those attending the workshop and also anyone who wants to browse the shop. If there is anything you want in particular please call or email to let us know by Monday afternoon so we can pack accordingly.
Also at the event will be Emma Gunn and her daughter Lowen who will be selling their plants and pots. Lowen is an entrepreneur at just 10 years old and takes after her green fingered mum.
Michelle is running a new Craft Hub in Carnkie (Wendron) Village Hall on Tuesdays, starting November 4th, with two of her creative friends, Clare and Alex. Each week there will be different crafts and sewing projects to join in with. Three hours of creativity for £20 to include materials and refreshments. Come and join us to sew, block print, needle felt, make cards and much more. Full details on the event page, just click the photo to see it. To book please contact Michelle heartfeltcircle22@gmail.com or Clare 07792 361202.

There is still just over another week to see the exhibition by local Helford Artists Collective at Trebah Gardens. Our lovely friend Fi Pullen is part of this and it is well worth a visit.
