Arrivals from New Zealand ...

Good morning. How are things going for you this week? We are all fully recovered from the lurgy. Many thanks for all the kind messages. It was heartwarming to read them all. The sun has been kind to us this week too which also lifts spirits when you can pop outside for a walk or a cuppa in the garden. I even spied a beautiful Peacock Butterfly on a walk one day. What a treat in October.

We also couldn't help but feel better when the parcel of patterns arrived from New Zealand this week. House on the Hill Designs are the epitome of country style sewing and we have restocked some of our most popular patterns. We are busy making up kits for some of them, so if we are out of stock of the one you want, please bear with us as we are busy cutting for you.

We have also been making room for new ranges that will be arriving. This means that there are lot of new End of Rolls available at reduced prices. These are mostly one offs as they are the last bit of fabric left on a bolt and are usually from ranges that we cannot get again. It is last chance for many of the designs that you see.

Thank you for your friendship and custom. It is our pleasure to provide a more personal service for our customers and we look forward to helping you choose the right products and fabrics for your projects.
With our Very Best wishes

Life's a Journey ....... Take time to stop and smell the flowers...... What a lovely reminder to take things slowly on this large wall hanging. We have two alternative fabric packs for this pattern. One in Tilda and the other more like the original country style.
The Days in Provence quilt pattern has been flying out the shop for years. One simple block is turned through 90 degrees to create a gorgeous quilt. Sally made her own version with Janet Clare fabrics and we have seen larger versions with more repeated blocks made using Tilda. Such a versatile pattern.
The smaller wall hangings Tea Garden Quilts includes patterns for three different designs. Bonheur Heart is a lovely gift to make for anyone to show you care.
A Perfect Day and Sea Breeze have been popular since we first stocked them. A great way to use up scraps of fabrics to create your own coastal or countryside wall hanging. Each pattern comes with a set of buttons to add finishing touches.
The Simply Seaside and Simply Rouge booklets are pocket rockets simply packed with templates and ideas to make a variety of items for the home, to make as gifts or for craft fayres. We have project packs to accompany the booklets that contain various fabrics, trims and threads to get you started.
Jackie Nicholls has designed these delightful hand painted buttons. They are laser cut from MDF and are decorative only (non washable). Some have holes so that they can be stitched but all can simply be attached to wood or fabric with PVA glue.
These are just some of the new fabrics that we have added to end of roll category. They include Lynette Anderson, Christmas designs, Edyta Sitar, Linen and batik. Don't just look at the newer additions as we have some absolute bargains still available of older ranges too including William Morris, Liberty and Tilda. Scroll through the page to see them all.
We have lots of other sale categories for you to browse including sale fabrics, fat 1/4s, patterns, kits and books. This is added to regularly so keep popping back to see what's new.
