Bargains and Exhibitions -

Hello to another weekend. This time a Bank Holiday. For me it's a weekend of DIY but I am sure I will get some time for fun and sewing too. What are your plans? Do you have visitors or are you visiting someone else? We hope that you find time to sew whatever your plans may be. At least the sun is shining still.

We are always adjusting our Sales area of the website so this week we thought we would take a look at that area more closely. There are some lovely bargains to be had there, mostly are last chance as we are unable to get more of that particular fabric or item. It is always worth having a visit to see what might be there.

We have added more End of Rolls to the website and have made more scrap bags. The end of rolls are discounted pieces of fabric that are left on the bolt when the rest has sold. Some are great for backing projects and others are useful stash builders. Scrap bags are a great way to buy smaller pieces of a variety of fabrics that are useful for smaller projects although we have seen one customer who made a large double quilt using just scrap bag fabrics. It was beautiful and full of colour. It reminded us of the more traditional aspects of patchwork, that of using every single scrap of fabric that is left from other projects or upcycling old worn out clothes and other textiles.

The Coast and Country team got together for a social event again this week. We met at a local food barn where we were able to select a meal from a variety of pop up mobile traders. Delicious food and delightful company. We are so blessed to be such great friends even though we no longer all work together. What a joy it is to have such connections in our life.

Thank you for your friendship and custom. It is our pleasure to provide a more personal service for our customers and we look forward to helping you choose the right products and fabrics for your projects.
With our Very Best wishes
