A Big Thank You
Firstly, thank you to everyone who bought an Advent Box from us. All the feedback from you, as you have received your order, has been wonderful to read. We are pleased that, although tempted by the lovely little parcels inside the box, you are all behaving and holding fire until December before opening them daily. We did enjoy making them and look forward to making more next year. We are even contemplating boxes for other occasions, why reserve all the fun for Christmas alone? Watch this space. Sorry if you missed out this time but we were unsure of how many would be needed and we were blown away by the popularity of them. We will make sure we have more elves on hand for next time!

New this week is a small selection of fabric from Paper & Cloth for Moda. D is for Dream is a muted collection featuring snuggly bears and moons and stars. There are two fabrics, charm squares and a useful Milestone Blanket panel to make up for those precious milestone photos.

After the flurry of Advent Box making, our Christmas Elves have been busy making up lots of festive fabric packs. We have a selection showcased below to inspire you to get sewing in the run up to Christmas. These include some pretty decorations to make for your tree as well as larger projects and Block of the Months. If some kits are out of stock, please add your name to the waitlist and we will get to them as soon as we possibly can.

On Friday 2nd December we will be celebrating our birthday. Look out for offers and a special birthday project designed by Mary. We will also have an offer to coincide with Black Friday weekend offering 10% off storewide instore and online. We will announce them in store, on social media, & in our newsletter.

We have all fallen in love with this gentle range from Paper & Cloth for Moda. The same soft palette used in their previous range, Little Ducklings. This new collection compliments it beautifully with soft yellows, greys and blues and loveable bears moons and stars.
|

We were all intrigued by the cotton canvas Dreamy Milestone blanket panel with the moon, stars and numbers, but it is an easy way to make a Milestone Blanket. Once made up and quilted, use it to take photos of little ones at particular ages. Lie baby down or sit toddler on the moon image and place items to frame the milestone days, weeks, months or years. You could also add in favourite toys or clothes for a more captivating photo of precious times. What a lovely way to record baby's growth and a perfect way to share with family and friends on social media. This would make a gorgeous gift for new parents.

Quick Christmas Makes

Let's start with the smaller patterns and kits that can easily be finished in time for this Christmas.

One of our lovely online customers paid us a visit this week and brought along her gorgeous version of The Santa, The Tree. Jacqueline used her own stash of felt and cotton fabrics, including bits from our popular scrap bags, which we will be topping up this week. Heart to Hand designer Kathi Campbell has some truly lovely designs for Christmas. We have fabric packs made up for many of them and are happy to put together fabrics for those we haven't created yet. Many use wool or woolfelt and flannel for a super soft feel.
