Coast & Country Crafts and Quilts Newsletter

Step inside our little slice of heaven
Welcome once more to our newsletter and our chance to have a little chat. We’ve had lots of lovely comments about the newsletter and it really does mean so much to us. As I write I always imagine being sat with each of you having a cuppa. Sharing the excitement of new products or restocked favourites. It’s a magical way of connecting and makes us proud of the personal service we offer rather than being an impersonal warehouse business where customers are just numbers not people.
|
This week we have been busy rearranging the shop and invite you to step inside with us even if you are unable to visit us in person. We share some photos of our shelves full of stock so you get, at least, a little share of the experience of coming to see us. We unfortunately aren’t able to give you a virtual feel of the fabrics, from silky lawns to the pre washed and textured Sligo linens, the soft woolfelts and the superb quilting cottons, but rest assured we choose carefully to make sure we only stock the best quality fabrics that sew and wash beautifully.
|
Alongside a glimpse inside the shop we have received more stitchery panels including two new Sashiko panels, and with all the rearranging we have added more end of roll bargains to our sale category. Kaffe, Tilda, Batik, Janet Clare and many others are up for grabs.
|
We hope you enjoy our little photo tour of the shop and have a fabulous week ahead.
|
We look forward to helping you with all things sewing related.

Sarah has worked her magic to create our displays to showcase our fabrics, fat 1/4s, samples and kits. Come and look around the shop with us. If you click on the photos you will be taken to the relevant fabrics shown. If you spy something you can'tfind online, contact us and we will do our best to help.

Christmas has started very early at Coast and Country but it looks so rich and luxurious. We also have some ranges at sale prices.

Janet Clare is always popular with our customers. Her fabrics and patterns appeal to so many with her beautiful blue palettes with sea and botanical themes.

What can we say about batiks? We love them! Batik fabrics are a closely woven fine lightweight cotton in such gorgeous designs and colours.

Our woolfelts are available online by the long 1/4 and multiples of that, and in the shop we also sell smaller squares. The felt is a wool rayon mix making it easy to work with. It doesn't fray or stretch and you can sew right to the edge.

Last but by no means least, Tilda. We have had so many Tilda ranges over the years, starting with just a couple of bolts. This last range of Creating Memories was 64 bolts in total! Added to our existing ranges has meant we now have nearly a whole side of the shop dedicated to their fabrics and kits. Delicious!

We have lots of end of rolls on sale and have added another 40 this week as we make room for new stock. There are several categories to choose from so there's something for everyone - Linen, Tilda, Janet Clare, Japanese Woven, Christmas, batik, children's.

Added to our range of pre-printed stitchery panels are two new Sashiko panels with a botanical theme. These sit nicely with the fish and hare Sashiko panels and are an easy way to get started with Sashiko stitching. We also stock a large variety of other panels and kits that are preprinted, as well as Sashiko needles and books.
