Coast & Country Crafts and Quilts Newsletter
Happy weekend to you all. We hope that this newsletter finds you in good form and a little cooler after the drop of rain we have had. We trust that none of you suffered badly with either the extreme heat or the flash floods that affected some areas. Thankfully we are all well at the shop and have been welcoming in many faces old and new. It's been so lovely to see familiar faces as well as meet our online customers who are visiting our lovely corner of Cornwall.

We have already had some inspiring ideas from customers who are joining the Mini Charm challenge that we set last week. There's a reminder below of the details. Don't forget that every entrant receives a discount voucher and the two winners win a £25 voucher each.

This week we are looking at the new fabric ranges Pieces of Time by Ellies Quilt Place plus Garden of Flowers by Lynette Anderson, and revisiting other pretty florals while we enjoy the late summer weather. Promenade by 3 Sisters and Grace by Brenda Riddle are so gorgeous that they deserve to be lovingly made into many beautiful projects. If you're stuck for inspiration check out our large selection of patterns and books. Also pop over to our blog and the customer gallery to see what other people have been creating.

These gorgeous little cottages flew out after our last delivery and so we restocked them as soon as we could. Buy individually or as a set of 4 to create your own seaside scene complete with surfboard and fish buttons.

We love 3 Sisters gentle designs and this range is so pretty. Promenade is a delicate floral range of ditsy prints and bolder paisley and large florals. It is such a soft yet fresh range. Perfect for summer make quilts & cushions, a summer picnic blanket or table cloth, but would also look lovely made up into clothes.

Soft blues, greens and pinks make up this pretty range of florals and checks. This would look pretty made up as a jelly roll rug or use a layer cake to make a summery version of the Picture Corners lap quilt

Most of our fabric ranges, including Grace and Promenade above, have pre-cut fabrics of the whole range including jelly rolls, layer cakes, charms and mini charms. If you are stuck for ideas then take a look at our selection of books for inspiration. This selection includes books to use various precuts and we like to see how different each project can look in the different ranges.

A reminder to Join Our Mini Charm Challenge
|
We love mini charm packs. They have all the range of fabrics in there but these little 2 1/2" squares are amazing value, just right for gifts, treats and perfect for those smaller projects.
|
So guess what..... to give you a chance to play and win prizes we are launching the Mini Charm Challenge!
|
All you have to do is complete a project this summer using a mini charm pack of your choice. Add extra fabric if you like and then send us a clear photo with your name, address and telephone number or email address. Also tell us the name of the mini charm pack used. That's all there is to it!!!! There are two categories, Christmas or Everyday. We have lots of mini charms to choose from & many are in the sale.

The closing date is Friday September 9th 2022. There will be 2 winners, one for each category - one £25 gift voucher for the everyday mini charm project category & one £25 gift voucher for the Christmas project category, and all entrants will receive a discount voucher. We just ask that you make something new for this challenge, & if you use someone else's pattern, please credit the designer. Good Luck!!!
