Our news ....
Hello beautiful customers and friends. A quick update with what is happening regarding the closure of the physical shop and thank you for bearing with us through the changes.
|
Originally, Sally was planning to close the physical shop on Saturday May 31st, today! However, selling a business takes time, so business will continue as usual, both with the physical shop open for a little longer & as an online only shop in the future, giving you all more time to pop in and see us & enjoy last minute bargains. We will announce the closing date of the physical shop as soon as we have a firm date, but it will definitely be open until at least 6th June.

We still have plenty of gorgeous things to buy with amazing bargain offers on fat 1/4s, Mettler threads and DMC stranded cottons, plus new stock of Lucky Dip Stitchery Packs and last chance buys with end of rolls, patterns and precuts. Also our own bespoke fabric packs and ready made kits from our designers such as Hannah Burbury, Louise Nichols and Corinne Lapierre, are a great price now with 15% off all non sale stock. If there are any ex display items that have caught your eye then contact us to reserve them as soon as possible. There are shop samples of quilts, wall hangings, cushions and toys. As well as display baskets, stands, shelves, tables, chairs and much much more. If possible please pay by cash or individual makers of samples may be able to give you an opportunity to BACS or pay through their own Paypal accounts.

Honeybuns are similar to jellyrolls but instead of being 2 1/2" wide strips the honeybun consists of 42 strips 1 1/2" wide. Sally and Michelle have both used a honeybun for their patterns, Honeybun Kisses cushion, and I Saw Three Ships quilt. We have just a few of each pattern and honeybuns left in stock. The honeybuns are now a bargain at just £19.95.

We have so much fun making the Super Duper DMC Lucky Dip Delight Packs, each containing 20 DMC & a pack of card thread bobbins. So much colour and gorgeousness that we may have been tempted to buy some ourselves. Each pack is colour coordinated. Some are bright rainbows of colour, or a more muted palette, pastels or shaded blues, pinks, greens. These are lucky dips but please let us know if you have a preference.

Our shop fat 1/4s are 25% off with a minimum purchase of 10, & 50% off with a minimum purchase of 20! We realise not all of you are close enough to visit, so we have made two products on our website so you can enjoy the same offer, & we will choose the 10 or 20 Mystery Fat 1/4s from our shop stock (ie shop stock is not online & these are only fat 1/4s that have already been cut). We have seen some gorgeous bundles of fat 1/4s being snapped up this week. In the shop you can choose your own selection, online we will make a delicious selection for you.

There are still some ex-display and workshop samples for sale. Pop in to grab a bargain, or give us a call to reserve one that takes your fancy. These are cash only purchases or you may be able to negotiate a BACs transfer or Paypal payment with individual staff members.

These gorgeous lucky dip packs of Mettler Threads have been flying out the door. A really cost effective way of building a thread stash for every need, and with the 20% discount offer they really are a bargain. There are packs in several colourways as well as a mixed assorted colour option.

We have added over 50 new end of roll fabrics to the Sale category. There are some delightful fabrics to tempt you. Most are over 1/2 metre x width of fabric, plus some bigger for backing a small quilt. All are greatly reduced and never to be repeated as they are the last pieces left on the bolts from ranges that cannot be reordered.

As we empty the physical shop we will be selling our baskets, furniture, fixtures and fittings. If you know there are items that you would like or would be useful to another shop or group then please give us a call or drop us an email.

This is the last of our display sewing machines and has seen little use. It is in excellent working order, is sold as seen and comes with multiple feet. It would make an ideal starter machine at a great price.

The Toyota RS2000 was reduced to £135 but is now further reduced to £95 and comes with a box, multiple feet and a manual. This is not online so if you are interested please call us on 01872 870478
