We have had more reorganisation of stock and displays, so have added new products online that were previously only in the shop. These include Batik fabrics, Mettler threads, DMC thread packs and more end of rolls. We also have display samples up for grabs. These are obviously one offs but you could always make your own from the patterns we have for them.

From today, for our local ladies who are close enough to visit, our shop fat 1/4s are 25% off with a minimum purchase of 10, & 50% off with a minimum purchase of 20! We realise not all of you are close enough to visit, so we have made two products on our website so you can enjoy the same offer, & we will choose the 10 or 20 Mystery Fat 1/4s from our shop stock (ie shop stock is not online & these are only fat 1/4s that have already been cut).

REMINDER- This weekend is a Bank Holiday, so we will not be open on Monday 26th May but will reopen again on Tuesday. This also means that parcels may be delayed at the post office and bare with us as we pick and pack extra orders on Tuesday.

We discovered that a lot of our Beautiful Batiks were not online so we have been busy adding them so our customers further afield have an opportunity to buy them as well. Batik cottons are a very fine lightweight cotton weave and I love working with them. They are cool to wear when used for dressmaking, and come in such a myriad of wonderful designs and colours. With the sunny days our batiks have been selling really well so we have used the last metre or so left on bolts to create end of roll bargains and scrap bags. Some of the end of rolls are big enough for backing a quilt or equally can be used for dress making. Batik cottons are a very fine lightweight cotton weave and I love working with them. Note to self to actually finish the batik bargello quilt I have in my WIP pile!

We no longer have patterns for a few of our bespoke handpicked fabric packs. Rather than split them up into smaller units we thought that you may already have the pattern at home, or be more creative and use it for your own design or another pattern. Each fabric pack is enough to make a project of a similar size or to add to your stash for other ideas.

The utterly delicious Mettler threads have never been online so not all of you lovely customers even knew they were available. There is such a massive inventory that to add them all online individually would take a long time and then ages for you to go through several pages of stock. We have taken the headache away for us all by making these gorgeous colour coordinated thread packs.
|
|
They are available in several colour ways, Earth - think nature in browns and greens, Water - ocean blues, greys and pale green, Fire - reds, russets, orange and yellow, Berry Burst - in pinks, deep red and purples and Assorted Colours - including neutrals, pastels and greys, in two sizes. They are like the sweetie bags at the supermarket checkout. Already visitors to the shop have been tempted to buy these bags of colour.

We are selling off some of our shop samples. They have been made by various members of staff and belong to them not the shop so they are not online. If you see something you like in these photos or in the shop, then please contact us to reserve. They will be on a first come first served basis.
|
We can only accept cash in the shop and prices vary from £2 up to about £80 depending on the item. So please be prepared if there is something you like. If you are unable to visit us then please contact us via phone or email and we can arrange payment individually with the maker of each item.
