Welcome to this week's newsletter. It's lovely to be in touch again. We hope that October was good to you and that November heralds in lots of happy times. We have been busy putting together the Advent Boxes and they are looking very lovely and festive. A few more left, as well as some of the beautiful Aurifil Advent boxes too which are a great way to build your thread stash. We confess to opening one up for a sneak peak, alas, we didn't find one of the hidden golden spools but that means our customers have more of a chance of finding one of them. Could it be you?

It is nearly the shop's birthday and we are running 1/2 day workshops. The morning is now fully booked up but there are a couple of spaces left for the afternoon if you want to join us. For £20 you get the 2 hour workshop with Mary, complete with a kit, tea or coffee, and of course cake!

Winter Days Flannels are a super soft brushed cotton and perfect to make into something for a little one as the nights and days get cooler. They are gorgeous for a baby quilt at any time of the year, and one customer even bought some to make snuggly pyjamas! What a wonderful array of Christmas and Advent panels we have this year. Some at incredible prices and all included in the 10% off sale. The panels are a quick way to create something festive. They can be left whole for a quilt or large Christmas Sack, or cut into separate images for table runners, table mats, coasters, bunting, gift bags and boxes. We still have an advent calendar panel which can be easily made up in time for December 1st ready to fill with treats.

This Pattern by Bunnyhill can not be made up in the original colourway again due to low stock of the range so now is the time to buy it. Mary hosted a lovely Christmas Gift workshop last week and she and Sally have a one day Christmas workshop coming up on November 21st. A week later, on the 30th November, Mary will be hosting the Birthday Workshop. The morning session is fully booked but we have a few spaces left on the afternoon from 1:30-3:30pm. The £20 fee includes the tuition, pattern, kit and tea, coffee and all important cake! There will also be special birthday discounts that day throughout the store. Details to follow.

We still have a few of our own Advent Boxes and the Le Alpi ones from Aurifil. As you can see from the photo, Sally was having a lot of Elfish fun wrapping the gifts for our shop boxes. Look at that cheeky grin!

I have seen what is going in them but I am sworn to secrecy. Rest assured, the projects are delightful and the gifts useful and beautiful.
