Christmas Creations

Greetings again. How are you doing today? We are wondering what our week will bring as this past one has been such a week of contrasts again. Beautifully bright sunny days and crazy downpours and storms. Flip flops and wellies all in one day. It's such a good job that sewing is not weather dependent. What a wonderful hobby we have

This week we concentrate again on things Christmas. We finally have all our Festive Fabrics in stock and have been topping up our patterns too. We were blown away by all the orders for the latest ranges this past week. We have luckily managed to secure more stock of the Up on the Housetop panels and more of the Magical Winterland, as these fabrics literally flew out. If they appear out of stock then please add your name to the waitlist as they will be in stock again soon.

It's a good time to get making for Christmas so we are not left sewing at the last minute. As well as sewing festive themed quilts, tree skirts, ornaments and wall hangings, now is a good time to start making gifts. We have plenty of fabric packs made up by ourselves for patterns from various designers including Tilda, Hatched and Patched, The Birdhouse, Lynette Anderson and Gail Pan.

We also have our very popular Coast and Country Advent Calendars being prepared. They will be sent out in November ready to open on December 1st. As always they will be filled with fabrics, projects and useful sewing gifts.

Don't forget that there is an option to set up wishlists on our website. Full details can be found in our Newsletter Archive. Look at the Snuggles, Sheep and Snowmen edition from 7th September where we have a step by step guide on setting up wishlists. Set up lists for gift ideas to buy for others or of course yourself!

Whatever this week has in store for you, we hope you have time for yourself to do what you love. We look forward to helping you with all your sewing needs, either in the shop, online or on the phone.
Best wishes
Sally & the girls
We have several new ranges of festive fabrics this year. We have showcased them all in other newsletters but here we have some reminders of just how gorgeous they are. So much choice from traditional to quirky and everything in between.
Our Christmas panels are good for a variety of projects. We have advent panels as well as those that can be used for making bags, wall hangings, placemats, bunting, cushions and quilts.
Here are examples of some of the festive patterns we stock from different designers. Click on the image to find the link to the patterns shown. There are simple stitcheries and more intricate larger quilts but there really is something for everyone. We have made up fabric packs for many of them and are happy to put one together for a pattern of your choice too. It's easier for us to choose in the shop than for you online.
Sally has made her own version of Snowmen make me Smile. Instead of the colours used by Lynette Anderson she has opted for the mini charm of Snowman Gatherings IV and we think it looks amazing. She has written about it in a blog post.
For the last couple of years we have created our very own Advent Boxes filled with all the components to make a variety of projects. One day might reveal a fat 1/4 and the next some thread or needles. There will be at least 4 new patterns included plus all the items needed to make them plus some other treats. These always sell out quickly and there is limited availability. Pre-order now to receive them in November.
The exclusive project in the September issue of Tilda Lovers Club is the Garden Blues Table Runner by Jennifer Reynolds of Jenny Of Elefantz.

Included is the pattern plus 1 x Creating Memories Summer & Ocean Blues Charm Pack 32 squares, 2 of each print
