These workshops are currently available to groups within Cornwall, where Sally will travel with her mobile shop to wherever your group meets, set-up shop & teach one of the workshop choices below for an agreed fee plus travel expenses.

Autumn Apples & Patchwork Pumpkins – at this workshop choose from a Crazy Apple quilt or wall hanging, Autumn Doll who holds a pumpkin, An Autumn cushion, Pumpkins and Angel Garland, 3-d spiced pumpkins and apples, Pumpkin wall hanging or quilt, or even a Matilda witch.
Strip Workshop with Moda’s Jelly Rolls – bought one of Moda’s beautiful Jelly Rolls and don’t know what to do with it? Book this workshop and learn how versatile these 2 ½” x 44” pieces in the Jelly Rolls can be. Options available will include hand and machine work.
Charm Square Workshop – bought one of Moda’s 5” square charm packs and don’t know what to do with it? This workshop gives you four different ideas from hand-work Japanese folded patchwork, Raggy Quilts, or a rotary cut and pieced design as well as a beautiful cushion to choose from.
Quillow Workshop - This can be a 2 stage workshop. Stage 1 is for those of you who would like help constructing the blocks & Stage 2 is the construction of the Quillow.
Stained Glass Wall Hanging based on Julia Mills stunning designs - Julia has kindly given her permission for me to teach this workshop. Base your design on, or adopt the unique style of Julia Mill's beautiful glass work, to create a stunning wall hanging using fabrics that reflect the opalescent characteristics of glass. http://www.juliamillsgallery.co.uk/info_commissions.php
Country Dolls and Angels – beautiful and easy to make country style dolls and angels
Easter Ducklings & Bunnies including Easter Pails for Eggs – delightful ducklings, beautiful bunnies & easy to make Easter Pails which look gorgeous in linens and cottons.
Story Book Bags – create a themed bag to keep a child’s special story book, associated games, toys and activities. Make props to bring the story to life! (i.e. Winnie the Witch, Noah’s Ark , The Very Hungry Caterpillar, or a story of your choice) Ideal as a gift for a special little person or for a Playgroup, School or Sunday school to use.
Life’s a Journey Wall Hanging – an easy and delightful pattern which depicts a lady holding a bunch of heart-shaped flowers, with the words ‘Life’s a Journey, take time to smell the flowers along the way’ embroidered on it. Methods include; piecing, bondaweb & some embroidered words - the group must purchase a pattern.
Sunday Best Wall Hanging - this gorgeous wall hanging depicts a lady all dressed up in her Sunday Best & is surrounded by patchwork squares. Methods include: piecing, bondaweb & a little embroidery – the group must purchase a pattern.
Pocket & Floss Bunnies - Sally will take you step-by-step to make this adorable pair of Bunnies; Floss is beautifully dressed in a floral dress and linen pantaloons & Pocket is dressed in linen dungarees and shirt. A pattern must be purchased.
Four Seasons cushions – simple and naive country style cushions themed with the four seasons in mind, using a mixture of linens & cotton prints, plaids or stripes & threads.
Four Strip Sewing Bag – This is a beautiful drawstring circular bag, ideal for keeping sewing essentials in. It can be made using 3 or 4 different fabrics.
Calico Teddy – This is a beautiful shaped teddy with a large round tummy and bottom.
He is made from two fat ¼’s and some scraps for paws and is very cuddly!
Quick Pieced Teddy Bear Wall Hanging – Using rotary cutting and a quick-piecing method, make this gorgeous 9 block Teddy Bear wall hanging with 3-d ears & button eyes.
Shelf Sisters – Create these gorgeous girls who are full of character. Why not theme them as a Quilter, Gardener, etc? They make very special gifts and will adorn anyone’s shelf. The group must purchase a pattern
Stitchery Workshop - With so many new patterns now combining Stitchery with patchwork and quilting, enjoy this Stitchery workshop learning techniques transferring your chosen stitchery pattern onto fabric, with hints and tips to create a beautiful project. A wealth of stitchery patterns available to purchase in the shop, or bring your own.
Chocolate & Roses Lap Quilt & Cushion - Come and create a romantic lap quilt & cushion ~ why not use sumptuous Chocolaty coloured fabrics mixed with the rich new colours of linens & back it with a warm and cosy flannel! Suitable for all abilities & a good introduction to rotary cutting for the fearful!
Bags of Bags – choose from a variety of bags from a shoulder bag, handbag, or a country drawstring bag. Why not use some of the stunning range of plain & floral linens & cotton prints all available from Coast & Country Crafts & Quilts. Suitable for all abilities.
Summer Flowers Wall hanging- a quick and easy wall hanging great for using up your scraps of warm summery fabrics. Use either bondaweb, appliqué, or create 3-d flowers using the new Clover yo-yo makers.
Rail Fence with Stars – This quick quilt includes rotary cutting methods & appliqué or bondaweb. It looks great in country checks, nautical colours, or whatever you choose.
Sailboatz - using Jan Mullen’s quick free-form method, create small sail boat blocks, that will each be individual. Methods include: rotary cutting and machine piecing. The group must purchase a pattern
Tilda Workshop – this workshop is for all you Tilda fans! Purchase and use one of her beautiful books (available from Coast & Country Crafts & Quilts), including; Christmas, Easter or Home-style themed projects. Choose a project that you would like to make, and have the choice of Tilda fabrics, buttons and accessories to use available from Coast and Country Crafts & Quilts, as well as a helping hand from Sally to guide you step-by-step.
Santa Sacks & Christmas Stockings - create a Country-style Santa Sack or Christmas stocking using a variety of Christmas or rustic fabrics and linens. Learn how to appliqué using freezer paper or bondaweb as well as Chacopy paper for transferring lettering & designs onto your project. Embellish with a selection of seasonal buttons. Suitable for beginners ~ hand or machine work.
Skinny Country Santa - Make this wonderful Skinny Country Santa out of rustic checks and stripes, fill his sack with country goodies and make him a rustic Christmas tree to hold. Full of character and fun to make.
Frosty and His Snowbabies – Create Frosty with his carrot nose, who holds a ‘let it snow’ sign & his adorable snowbabies clutching snowballs, ‘brrrr’ & ‘snowballs 4 sale’ signs.
Raggy Christmas Tree Wall Hanging - make this simple and stylish wall hanging using strips of fabric and embellish with miniature rusty bells, buttons, miniature Christmas tree lights or what ever you desire & a vine star for the top. Pattern must be purchased.
Snow Angels Country Advent Calendar – This country-style advent calendar is made with squares and rings to tying your presents/sweets onto, alternatively you can create miniature numbered sacks. Two Snow Angels peep over the top of the calendar wall hanging.
Chorus of Angels – Create these angels from a cone shape of linen, Christmas material with a bit of sparkle & a wooden bead for the head topped with raffia hair and a halo. Make a whole chorus of them!
