STITHIANS QUILT EXHIBITION
Saturday 1st May - Monday 3rd May 10 - 4.30pm

TEXTILE ILLUSTRATIONS WORKSHOP with Cat Rowe – Saturday 8th May, 10 - 4pm - Fee £30
Held at Coast & Country Crafts & Quilts Workshop, Barras Moor, Perranarworthal, Truro, TR3 7PE.
Turn a favourite view, landscape, seascape, harbour scene into a fabric picture.
Working on a small scale you will learn how to simplify and translate your own photographs or sketched image into a piece of textile art. The ideal project for using up scraps of fabric that you have been hording! We will add the details and ‘drawn’ parts of our pictures by machine or hand stitching. End the day by mounting your piece of work.

Join Helen Perrot from The Kissing Bough, in a cushion making workshop with a difference. Combine cushion making skills with the opportunity to explore the use of natural fragrance.
You will be able to make an extra huggable cushion from quality fabrics & scented in an original way using Helens essential oils who will help you create your own scent recipe.
Full kits & essential oils available to purchase on the day.

FLOATING SQUARES WALLHANGING WORKSHOP with Christine Gurney - Friday 18th June, 10 - 3pm - Fee £25
Held at Coast & Country Crafts & Quilts Workshop, Barras Moor, Perranarworthal, Truro, TR3 7PE
This workshop will produce a captivating wallhanging approximately 32 inches by 32inches.
Consisting of 9 blocks and borders, the finished blocks have a fabulous 3D effect of the squares floating.

QUILTERS JOURNAL WORKSHOP with Cat Rowe - Saturday 19th June, 10 - 4pm - Fee £30
Specifically designed for quilters and patch-workers, this workshop looks at how to keep a record of all your quilts, wall hangings and textile projects in an exciting and easy format.
We will look at how to display and attach photographs, add and keep information about the pieces, instructions and stories behind them all up to date.
We will also include how to keep a resource for all your inspiration for future projects and quilts organised.
